Daniel "Danny" Syrkin (or Dani Sirkin, Hebrew: דניאל "דני" סירקין; born 4 March 1971) is a Russian-born Israeli film and television director and screenwriter.
Syrkin was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, to a Jewish family.
Syrkin immigrated to Israel as a baby with his family and resided in Jerusalem.
His thesis project at the School of Cinema, a short film And Now Rachmaninov (עכשיו רחמימוב, Achshav Rachmaninov, 1998), won a prize at the Turin Film Festival in Italy.
Syrkin has had a successful professional career in Israel, with many of his films winning prestigious international prizes and participating in major film festivals across the globe.
