Daniel T. Potts, FBA (born 1953), is an American historian and archeologist[1] who is the Professor of Ancient Near Eastern Archeology and History at the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World of New York University.
From 1991 to 2012 he was the Edwin Cuthbert Hall Professor of Middle Eastern Archaeology at the University of Sydney.
