Danielle Cadena Deulen

Danielle Cadena Deulen (born 1979) is an American poet, essayist, and academic.

[5] The title Lovely Asunder was taken from Gerard Manley Hopkins' "The Wreck of the Deutschland."

The Riots (U. of Georgia Press, 2011)[1] is a book of essays which won the 2010 the AWP Prize in Creative Nonfiction, judged by Luis Alberto Urrea.

[6] It also won the Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award for Creative Nonfiction.

[7] Her 2023 collection Desire Museum was shortlisted for the 2024 Lambda Literary Award for Bisexual Poetry.
