Danny Brown

Daniel Dewan Sewell (born March 16, 1981), better known as Danny Brown, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan.

He gained major recognition after the release of its follow-up, XXX (2011), which received critical acclaim and led him to be named "Artist of the Year" by Spin and the Metro Times.

After a lack of success with Roc-A-Fella, Brown returned to Detroit and eventually linked up with Detroit-based producer Nick Speed.

On July 11 and 12, Brown opened in front of 100,000 fans for Eminem's sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium in London.

[102] In a June 2022 interview, Brown alleged that Die Antwoord member Watkin Tudor Jones attempted to force Yolandi Visser on him, and further assaulted him while sat on his lap by forcibly kissing him on the neck at an afterparty in Paris, France.
