Darshan Puttannaiah (born 1977) is an Indian politician from Karnataka.
[5] He completed his Bachelor of Technology from the Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering Mysore in the year 2001.

[citation needed] He was supported by the Indian National Congress, who did not field a candidate in the 2023 Assembly elections from Melukote.
[6][7] He had fought 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election from the Melukote Assembly constituency representing Yogendra Yadav's Swaraj India but lost to C. S. Puttaraju of Janata Dal (S).
