The institute was founded in 1993[1] and initially was based at Bromley Cross in the northern part of Borough of Bolton.
[1] The Darul Uloom strives to produce Islamic scholars of high standards, aiming to include both religious and secular education provisions.
[4] The curriculum is based on the Dars-i Nizami teaching format that has been in place since the establishment of Darul Uloom Deoband, it is rooted in the Hanafi school of thought.
The students are taught many books in relation to subjects such as Tafsir, Hadith, Arabic language, grammar and syntax, Islamic jurisprudence, logic and reasoning and public speaking classes.
This course depends on how long students take to memorise the Holy Qur'an; they are given the guidance and support by their personal tutor.
