The band was created following the participation of singer Chris Daughtry in the fifth season of American Idol and has so far released six studio albums and an EP.

It debuted at No.2, sold 304,000 units in its first week,[1] and was the fastest selling rock album in SoundScan history.

This album has spawned three top ten songs on the Adult Pop chart: "No Surprise", "Life After You", and "September".
