David Cawley

David Cawley (born 17 September 1991) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for League of Ireland First Division side Finn Harps.

[2] David scored his first goal for the club with a fine 20 yard strike in a 3-0 home win against reigning champions Shamrock Rovers.

Sligo was knocked out in the next round against Rosenborg of Norway, having put in a man of the match performance in a 2-1 away win to the Norwegian Giants, they lost at home 3-1.

[citation needed] On 20 December 2023, Cawley was unveiled as the third new signing of the off-season for Finn Harps under new manager Darren Murphy.

[4] Following a 6th place finish for Harps in the First Division, Cawley was given a one year contract extension to stay with the Donegal side.
