David Christie (1 January 1948 – 11 May 1997) was a French singer.
Born Jacques Pepino in Tarare, Rhône in eastern France.
As a composer working with lyricist Jack Robinson, Christie, using the name James Bolden, wrote songs that have sold more than 50 million records around the world.
He later had a second daughter, Julia, born of his relationship with the singer Nina Morato.
Christie committed suicide in 1997 in Capbreton, following the accidental death of his 11-year-old daughter Julia.
