David Martin Evans, OAM[1] (born 20 September 1967) is an Australian Paralympic athlete.
[2] In 1991, the Australian Institute of Sport established an Athletics with a Disability Program and he became an inaugural scholarship holder and was coached by Chris Nunn.
[2] In an interview, Evans commented "I spent too many years not training seriously because it was too easy to win in disabled events without doing any work.
"[4] As of 2017, Evans is ranked the fifth in the leading male gold medallists tally for Australian Para-athletes at the IPC World Athletics Championships.
[5] in 2012, Evans had a place on the board of management at 'Limbs 4 Life' as the secretary of the organisation.
