David Grubin

David Grubin (born 1944) is an American documentary filmmaker.

Grubin is best known for producing television documentaries for PBS,[1] notably American Experience and Healing And The Mind with Bill Moyers.

A member of the executive committee of the Society of American Historians, Grubin has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, has been a Montgomery Fellow at Dartmouth College, and is the recipient of an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Hamilton College.

He teaches documentary filmmaking at Columbia University's Graduate Film Program.
