David Jones (basketball)

David Apolinar Jones García (born 24 November 2001) is a Dominican professional basketball player for the Mexico City Capitanes of the NBA G League.

After performing particularly well in the 2018 U17 World Cup, Jones and his family decided he would attend high school in the U.S. as a way to enhance his future professional career.

Following his prep career for Teays Valley Christian School in West Virginia, Jones signed with DePaul University in Chicago.

[3] Following the season and dismissal of coach Mike Anderson and hiring of Rick Pitino, Jones again entered the transfer portal.

[10] On 22 November 2024, Jones was signed to a two-way contract by the Utah Jazz of the NBA, splitting time with their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.
