David Lindsay (rugby union)

David Frederick Lindsay (9 December 1906 – 7 March 1978) was a New Zealand rugby union player.

A utility back, Lindsay played in positions from five-eighth to fullback.

He represented Otago at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, on their 1928 tour of South Africa.

On that tour he was the first-choice fullback, and played 11 matches including three of the four internationals.
