He studied journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
[2] After graduating from the University of North Carolina he worked as a reporter at WTAJ-TV in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
He then moved on to work at WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia where he hosted “Action Newsmakers."
He started by promoting the gourmet food products of the company through the station.
As time went on, he gradually increased his position on the channel and then started to host his own shows.
