Dean Fredrick Andal (born October 23, 1959) is an American businessman and former Republican public official from Stockton, California.
He was a member of the board of directors and audit committee for Service 1st Bancorp in Stockton, California.
He compiled a conservative record and was appointed chief budget negotiator for the Assembly Republican Caucus.
[2][3] He was reelected to a full term in 1992 in the closest state assembly race in California, and was named Legislator of the Year by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, National Tax Limitation Committee, and Crime Victims United.
On November 4, 2008, Andal ran for Congress in California's 11th district and was defeated by incumbent Democrat Jerry McNerney.
