Deborah Abela (born 13 October 1966) is an Australian author of children's books, most notably the Max Remy, Super Spy series, Grimsdon and Teresa – A New Australian.

She does the Virtual Book Week Dart Session for kids.

In 2008, she was awarded the May Gibbs Fellowship for Children's Literature.
