Deborah Adams

[1][2] A seventh-generation Tennessean,[3] Adams was born and raised primarily in Tennessee, although she lived for several years during childhood in Western Kentucky.

She is a charter member of the Southern Literary Coalition and is the founder of the Femmes Fatales,[7] a group of cozy mystery writers that began collaborating on a newsletter (later a blog) in the mid-1990s, and continues until the present.

Adams was a co-founder of Oconee Spirit Press, which published a number of popular authors during its ten year run.
