Deer Canyon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Torrance County, New Mexico, United States.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

[2] The CDP is in the southwestern part of the county, at the base of 400-foot-high (120 m) cliffs that rise to the southeast.

It is 7 miles (11 km) south of Mountainair and 70 miles (110 km) southeast of Albuquerque.
