Dennis Villanueva

Dennis Jaramel Villanueva (born April 28, 1992) is a Filipino professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or a left-back.

He started his senior career with Ostia Mare in Serie D before playing in the Philippines for Global, Davao Aguilas, and Ceres–Negros.

[4] Villanueva is known for his fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude; in a match against Stallion on 22 February 2015 he scored a goal in stoppage time to seal a 2–1 win, earning the praise of coach Leigh Manson.

[5] Villanueva was first called up to play for the Philippine national team at the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup and was part of the squad's bench but was not subbed in.

[6][3] He was called up again for the national team's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against Bahrain and Yemen scheduled on June 11 and 16 respectively.
