Deodoro (footballer)

Deodoro began his career in the youth sectors at Portuguesa.

In 1969, he was promoted to the professional ranks as fullback, being Zé Maria substitute.

[1] He then had spells at Juventus, Guarani, Vasco and Coritiba, where he won the Silver Ball in 1978, playing as central defender.

[2][3] Deodoro returned to Juventus once again in 1979, and was part of the squad that won the 1983 Taça de Prata, considered the most important title in the club's history.

[4] Deodoro was São Caetano manager in 1991, from June to December.
