Dhankari (Nepali: ढँकारी ) is a Gaupalika(Nepali: गाउपालिका ; gaupalika) in Achham District in the Sudurpashchim Province of far-western Nepal.

[1] Dhankari has a population of 21562.The land area is 227.88 km2.

[2] At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, Dhankari Rural Municipality had a population of 21,570.

[3] In terms of ethnicity/caste, 54.5% were Chhetri, 14.7% other Dalit, 13.9% Kami, 11.2% Hill Brahmin, 2.2% Thakuri, 1.9% Damai/Dholi, 0.6% Badi, 0.4% Magar, 0.2% Sanyasi/Dasnami, 0.2% Sarki and 0.1% others.
