Dick Todd (ice hockey)

[1] Unlike the vast majority of hockey coaches, Todd never played the game at a high level.

He also led Canada to a gold medal at the 1991 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

In 1993 Todd took a job as an assistant coach with the New York Rangers, winning a Stanley Cup with them in 1994.

He did this faster than any other coach in Major Junior A hockey history, accomplishing the milestone in just 813 games.
