Dickens, Texas

Texas State Highway 70 crosses the western side of town, leading north 28 miles (45 km) to Matador and southeast 34 miles (55 km) to Jayton.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city of Dickens has a total area of 0.97 square miles (2.5 km2), all land.

[6] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 219 people, 126 households, and 62 families residing in the city.

29.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Dickens is divided between the Spur and Patton Springs Independent School Districts.
