[2] Candidates must be graduates of a drama school or have performed professionally for the first time no more than five years before the theatre period for which they are honoured.
The "Committee of the Dimitris Horn Award" is currently composed of: Stamatis Fassoulis (chairman), Lydia Koniordou, theatrologist Irini Moudraki and the journalists Myrto Loverdou and Antigoni Karali as members.
[3] Members of the committee have been the theatrologist Kostas Georgousopoulos (chairman), Eleni Chatziargyri and Xenia Kalogeropoulou.
The future of the award is unknown as the initial fund from which the prize money was given is running out.
[4] Dimitris Lalos is not a graduate of a drama school, so in order to be awarded, the Committee removed from the statute the condition that was in force until then, to be the awarded graduate of a reputable drama school.
