Dinesh Prasad Goala (1 July 1947 – 11 April 2014) was an Indian Politician and former MLA of Lakhipur, representing INC for 7 consecutive terms (1983–2014) until his death.
[1][2] He also served as the Minister in-charge of Power & Public Health Engineering Department of Assam from 1991 to 2006.

Goala earned his MA in Political Science from Gauhati University in 1971.
