Donald P. Warren is an American businessman who is the current mayor and a former city councilor in Tyler, Texas.
He was elected on November 3, 2020 to be the mayor of Tyler, defeating challenger Joel Rando with 70% of the votes cast.
[1] On May 10, 2014 Warren was elected to represent district 4 of the Tyler City Council succeeding Martin Heines.
[4] However, in October 2020 John Nix suspended his campaign citing personal business issues.
[5] Warren would go on to win the general election on November 3, 2020 against challenger Joel Rando, the margin was 70% to 30%.
