In 2024 Pakistani general election, he was defeated from Rajanpur by a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf backed Independent Candidate.

[7] He ran for the seat of the National Assembly from Constituency NA-175 (Rajanpur-II) as an independent candidate in 2013 Pakistani general election but was unsuccessful.
