Douglas A. Shackelford is an American professor and academic administrator.
He served as the dean of the Kenan–Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill until September of 2022, where he is also the Meade H. Willis Distinguished Professor of Taxation.
[1] He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980 and earned a PhD in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 1990.
[2] Shackelford was a visiting professor at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School in 2011.
[2] Shackelford became the dean of the Kenan–Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill in February 2014.
