Tel Aviv University (MS) Dov Dori (Hebrew: דב דורי; born 2 September 1953) is an Israeli-American computer scientist, and Professor of Information Systems Engineering at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, known for the development of Object Process Methodology (OPM).
In 1981 he received his MS at the Tel Aviv University, Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, and in 1988 his PhD in Operations Research from the Weizmann Institute of Science[4] under supervision of Amir Pnueli and Shimon Ullman.
Dori started his academic career in the United States as Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the University of Kansas in 1987.
Between 2000 and 2020 he was intermittently Visiting Associate Professor and later Visiting Professor and Scholar at Sloan Business School and the School of Engineering of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is Fellow of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) since 2000, Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) since 2021, and ACM Senior Member since 2006.
