Dov Waxman

He is the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation Professor of Israel Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the director of the UCLA Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies.

Originally from London, England, Waxman went to Carmel College, a Jewish boarding school, and then to Oxford University for his undergraduate studies, where he became the editor of the student newspaper, Cherwell.

[1] Waxman joined the Department of Government at Bowdoin College as an assistant professor in 2002.

He then moved in 2014 to Northeastern University in Boston, where he was a professor of political science, international affairs, and Israel studies.

From 2005 to 2015, Waxman served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Israel Studies.
