[4] In 2022, Duangphet won a Zico Foundation[4] scholarship to Brooke House College Football Academy in Leicestershire, England.

[6] On 12 February 2023, Duangphet was found unconscious in his room at Brooke House College Football Academy.

[5] Following his death, Duangphet's family made a public appeal to Zico Foundation leader and former footballer Kiatisuk Senamuang for funds to repatriate his body to Thailand.

[9] After a cremation in the United Kingdom, Kiatisuk Senamuang delivered Duangphet's ashes to his parents at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 4 March 2023.

[10] A Buddhist ceremony was held for Duangphet in the Wat Phra That Doi Wao temple in Chiang Rai province.
