Duckenfield first appeared in Lloyd's Register in 1814 with H. Wood, master, C. Nockels, owner, and trade London–Jamaica.
[4] On 5 March 1831 West India was wrecked on the Bonavista Reef (Cape Verde Islands).
West India was on a voyage from Liverpool, Lancashire to the Cape of Good Hope and Mauritius.
From Van Diemen's Land Duckenfield sailed back to Britain via Bengal and arrived in London on 22 September 1833.
[6] Lloyd's Register for 1835 showed Duckenfield's owner and master as Mosey, and her trade as London–Quebec.
