The population was 705 at the 2010 census, the town is located on the Southside outskirts of Selmer, Tennessee Eastview is rooted in a three-room house and filling station established by the Littlejohn family in 1927.
The town's municipal boundaries stretch along US 45 to Selmer to the north and Guys to the south.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.0 square miles (13 km2), all land.
27.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
Eastview's newspaper is the Independent Appeal, which serves all of McNairy County.
