Echigo-Kawaguchi Station (越後川口駅, Echigo-Kawaguchi-eki) is a railway station on the Joetsu Line in the city of Nagaoka, Niigata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
It is 142.8 km (88.7 mi) from the starting point of the Joetsu Line at Takasaki and also forms the terminus of the 96.7 km Iiyama Line.
[1] The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
[2] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
