Echinodorus palifolius

Echinodorus palifolius, also known as Mexican sword plant is an emerged aquatic plant in the Alismataceae.

It has a rather odd, discontinuous range, native to Brazil (Minas Gerais and Bahia), Peru, Uruguay, and Mexico (Nayarit).
