Edgardo "Ed" Cordero (November 29, 1955) is a Filipino basketball player, coach, and executive.
Cordero played college ball for UST,[1] and made history by scoring a career-high of 54 points in a victory against Adamson in Loyola Center on July 29, 1979.
[2] He also played for the 1981 Philippine team who competed at the 1981 SEA Games, which the country hosted.
[4] Cordero served as an assistant coach for Mapúa Cardinals under Atoy Co,[5] and Perpetual Altas.
[7] While as an assistant at Perpetual, he applied to be his alma mater's head coach,[8] but wasn't chosen.
