Edgar Stangeland (born 22 July 1945) is a Norwegian former motorcycle speedway rider.
[1] He earned 10 caps for the Norway national speedway team.
[2] Stangeland is a former champion of Norway, winning the Norwegian Individual Speedway Championship in 1976[3] [4] He was also a two times finalist at the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship in 1974[5] and 1976.
[6] He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1970 until 1979,[7] riding for Newport Wasps, Exeter Falcons,[8] Swindon Robins, Wimbledon Dons, Bristol Bulldogs[9] and Wolverhampton Wolves.
