Edmund Webb

Edmund Webb (4 September 1830 – 24 June 1899) was a Cornish-born Australian politician.

He was born at Liskeard in Cornwall to farmer Thomas Webb and Catherine Geake.

He arrived in Sydney with his family on 13 September 1847 and worked as a draper at Bathurst, opening his own business in 1851.

In 1869 he was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for West Macquarie, serving until his defeat in 1874.
