Edward H. Howell (January 1, 1915 – March 29, 1994) was an American jurist in the state of Oregon.
Howell graduated in 1940 from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.
[1] Then with the onset of World War II he joined the United States Army where he served as an intelligence officer in the Aleutian Islands.
[1][clarification needed] On February 19, 1965, Howell was appointed by Governor Mark Hatfield to the Oregon Tax Court to replace Peter M. Gunnar who had resigned.
[2] On June 1, 1970, he was appointed to the Oregon Supreme Court by Governor Tom McCall to replace William C. Perry who had resigned from the bench.
