Edwin Cheney Nutt (January 12, 1868 – May 24, 1933) was an American farmer and politician from Yates County, New York.
[1] Nutt attended rural schools, the Starkey Seminary, and Penn Yan Academy.
He was also secretary-treasurer and president of the Torrey Telephone Company, president of the Yates County Agricultural Society, a director of the Yates County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Torrey Town Board.
[3] In 1925, Nutt was elected to the New York State Assembly as a Republican, representing Yates County.
[3] Nutt was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Dresden Methodist Episcopal Church.
