Edwin Morton (Ted) Hockings (1870–1942) was an architect in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.
In 1890 Hockings won a design competition for the Rockhampton Girls Grammar School.
[3] In addition to his responsibility for the main school building of the Rockhampton Girls Grammar School, Hockings was architect for the two major additions to it undertaken in 1897 and 1899, as well as a long serving member of the Board of Trustees (1908–1926), serving as Board Chairman in 1911 and from 1917–19.
[4] Hockings enlisted and served during the Boer War, where he commanded Squadron of the Third Queensland Contingent and was wounded.
Edwin Morton Hockings survived to see the completion of his last major work, Rockhampton Town Hall.
