Elin Kvande

Elin Kvande (born 6 December 1951) is a Norwegian sociologist and gender researcher.

She has been professor of sociology at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) since 1999.

She is a member of the Royal Norwegian Science Society.

In June 2015, she was appointed as a member of the public committee who was to assess public support schemes for families with children.

The committee was appointed by Minister of Children and Family Affairs, Solveig Horne.
