Else Olaug Mundal (born 8 November 1944) is a Norwegian philologist.
She was appointed as a docent in Norse philology at the University of Oslo in 1977.

[2] In 2017 she was appointed a knight of the Icelandic Order of the Falcon in connection with the state visit of Iceland's president to Norway.
