Elsinore is a town in Sevier County, Utah, United States.
The area was settled by Danish converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and named after Kronborg Castle, known as Elsinore in Hamlet.
The first passenger train arrived on July 21, 1896, from the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 km2), all land.
In 1980, 10-year-old Jason Hardman petitioned Elsinore's mayor for permission to open a library.
