The Emblem of Nagaland is the official seal of the government of the Indian state of Nagaland.
[1][2] It was designed by local artist Merimvü Doulo and was officially adopted in August 2005.
[3] The emblem of Nagaland is a circular seal depicting a Mithun bison standing on a green hilly landscape, surrounded by the motto "Unity" and the words "Government of Nagaland".
[4][5] As of 2024, there are no officially recognised flags for the individual states of India but when a distinctive banner is required to represent the state government, it can represented by a banner depicting the emblem of the state on a white or blue background.
