Emily Fisk Giffin (born March 20, 1972)[1] is an American author of several novels, including Something Borrowed, Meant to Be, All We Ever Wanted, Heart of the Matter, and The One and Only.
[1] Afterwards, Giffin earned her undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University, where she double-majored in history and English and served as basketball team manager.
[1] After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1997,[3] Giffin moved to Manhattan, where she worked in the litigation department of Winston & Strawn.
[1] Giffin started writing a new novel, originally titled Rolling the Dice, which was published in 2004 and became a best-seller called Something Borrowed.
The novel received positive reviews and made the New York Times bestseller list.
