Emily Halpern is an American film and television screenwriter[1][2] and singer/songwriter.

Halpern was born in Massachusetts, and graduated from Harvard College.

[4] In 2019, she co-wrote the screenplay for her debut feature film Booksmart, along with Sarah Haskins.

[5] Most recently, she co-wrote the film 80 for Brady, along with Sarah Haskins.

[6] In 2022, Halpern released her debut album Carry Me Home.
