Emmanuelle Auriol

Emmanuelle Auriol (born 5 December 1966 in Toulouse) is a French economist.

[4] She is also a regular contributor to Le Monde and the economic press.

In 2015, as a solution to the problems posed by illegal immigration, Auriol proposed in Libération to "legalize economic immigration by selling visas to people who wish to work with us.

"[5] In 2021, she was the co-author of a government-sponsored report that described how France’s growth has been hampered by its immigration policies.

[6] Ahead of the 2017 French presidential election, Auriol publicly endorsed Emmanuel Macron's candidacy.
