Emmitt H. Ford (December 13, 1943 – November 10, 2014) was an American politician from Tennessee.
Growing up in the West Junction and Riverside neighborhoods of South Memphis, he graduated from Geeter High School.
[3] He succeeded his brother Harold Ford Sr. as representative, but resigned in 1981 after a conviction for fraud.
[4] Ford was sentenced to federal prison in 2000 for tax evasion.
