Enrique Borgo Bustamante

Enrique Borgo Bustamante (born 22 August 1928) is a Salvadoran politician and former Vice President of El Salvador from 1994 to 1999.

[2] Borgo is a businessman, former executive president of TACA International Airlines.

[2] Borgo's political life started in 1960 as a private secretary of a government junta.

[2] Later he was elected by Legislative Assembly of El Salvador Borgo became the first designated person or first in the line of succession to the presidency (primer designado a la presidencia) between July 1977 and October 1979 for president general Carlos Humberto Romero.

[2] In 1990 President Alfredo Cristiani appointed him as an advisor to the El Salvador's UN mission in New York.
